Rumours of Chitrangada Singh and her golfer husband Jyoti Randhawa’s divorce went viral but the actress has come out rubbishing those rumours. Chitrangada, 37, confirmed that she had gone to the Gurgaon court with her husband for an internal settlement of a property dispute and not for the divorce.
Media reported that Chitrangada and Jyoti who have been married for 12 years now, had filed a divorce plea in the family court by mutual consent, on Friday following issues between the couple. Reports suggested that the actress was having a tough time looking after their five-year-old son Zorawar due to her commitments in Mumbai. Jyoti Randhawa want’s Chitrangada to spend more time with their son as he is away for most of the time of the year for his golf tournaments.
But when contacted, Chitrangada rubbished the rumours about her divorce, “It is not true. We were at the court for the property dispute, an internal settlement. And there were speculations because of that,” . According to a source close to her, the actress and her family were deeply hurt over the constant speculation about her marriage. Chitrangada’s visit to the court with her husband has been unnecessarily blown out of proportion.
