Mangaluru, November 8: The Flag Day and Establishment Day of the Bharath Scouts and Guides district unit and Mangaluru unit was celebrated here on November 8th, Saturday at the district Scouts and Guides Bhavan, Lalbhagh.
H B Khader Shah, district news and advertising officer, was the chief guest. The Swachh Bharat program was inaugurated by Gokul Das Nayak, commissioner, Mangaluru City Corporation.
Drawing and collage competition was also organised for the children.
The program was sponsored by B Ananth Pai, Managing Director Bharath Group of companies.
NG Mohan district chief commissioner Bharath Scouts and Guides DK, Vasanth Rao president, Mangalore unit, teachers and children’s from many schools had participated in considerable numbers.
