Mangaluru, November 5: Ganesh Karnik MLC has forced the government to handover the death case of Theerthalli school girl to the CBI.
He said that, from the preliminary investigations it is evident that the culprits are guarded. He expressed his surprise over the fact that the cops have found a death note from the bag of the victim which was not found by her parents.
Since the state government has failed to book the culprits under strict laws the crimes are recurring.
Commenting on the Goonda act imposed on Hindu activists, he said there are many incidents where activists of Hindu Organisations are targeted and are physically tortured without registering any case on them. The cops bow to the pressures of the politics.
He said, in order to provide security to women and children in the state the police department of the state must be kept alert.
He also warned that if the activists are tormented un-necessarily, then BJP would protest against the department.
