Mangalore, October 30: Jerry Francis (18), hailing from Ambalapura of Alappuzha district, Kerala has been arrested on the charges of kidnapping a minor girl by the Mangalore rural police.
It is gathered that Jerry Francis used to chat via face book with a girl. This 16 year teenage girl was studying in the second year PUC at Mangalore. Their friendship continued for more than 18 months.
Later, Jerry Francis decided to meet the girl. It is said that he stayed in Mangalore for 2 days prior to take her to his native on October 23rd.The parents of the girl had lodged a missing complaint after her disappearance.
The police tracked them through Facebook and collected his number. Then they reached Ambalapura in Alappuzha and took him to custody on October 29th.The cops have revealed that the minor girl will be subjected to medical tests.
It is said that, the culprit works as a welder in a fabricating shop. He has detained under judicial custody.
