Mangalore, October 28: A massive protest was organised by the Dakshina Kannada district gilinet, and traditional fishermen’s association in front of the district office, claiming the undue delay by the state government in the distribution of subsidized kerosene.
Organization leaders and office bearers were present on the occasion.
Traditional fishing today, is difficult now a day, and the government is betraying the fishermen by failing to provide the benefits in time alleged the protestors. Later an appeal was handed over to the district commissioner.
