Advocate P P Hegde elected as the chairman of Karnataka Bar Council.

Mangalore, October 10: A Mangalore based advocate Padma Prasad Hegde, has been unanimously elected as the chairman of the Karnataka State Bar Council.

P P Hegde, who was earlier the former vice-chairman of the council, is the first member of Mangalore Bar Association, and is also the youngest advocate who is graded to with this post. Hegde got his bachelor’s degree from Mangalore University bagging the first rank and gold medal, and also a first rank holder in post graduation. He has his offices at Mangalore, Bangalore and Delhi.

Anil Kumar J M from Bangalore is elected as the deputy chairman.

On October 11th, P P Hegde and Anil Kumar will resume their office at the council’s office in Bangalore.
