Kundapur, October 10: A special crew of cops have moved to Mumbai to track the looting case of a Jeweller in Ambagilu at Uppunda. The Kundapur and Byndoor cops under their joint operation have arrested four culprits who have involved in this case and are in a look-out for the main culprit Ravi Jithan.
Among the arrested, Shivaprakash Ripponpet, Chandrahas from Nittur, Udupi and Pradeep Poojary Hirgala were presented before the court and the court has remanded them under judicial custody for 15 days.
Among the accused Durga Das from Nittur, Udupi has revealed some information when probed, based on which the cops have moved to Mumbai for further surveillance. Currently, Durga das is kept under custody and is subjected to intense probe.
