Mangalore, October 8: The audio of the much awaited Tulu film ‘Chaali Polilu’ was released by the chairman of Alvas Education Foundation Dr M Mohan Alva, on Wednesday October 8th. At the press club in Mangalore, the film produced under the banner of Jayakirana Films launched this audio.
Addressing the media, Dr M Mohan Alva said, “I am really happy to release the audio of the film ‘Chaali Polilu.’ V Manohar, from Dakshina Kannada has composed the music while the background music has been given by Manikanth Kadri. Renowned artists like Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil and Bojar Vamanjoor are completely involved in this film. It is the 48th movie in the Tulu industry. Tulu language is ancient and also one among the most prominent languages in the field of literature, theatre, cinema, folk literature, social and politics.”
“The Tulu language plays and cinema are famous which involves a lot of fun. During the 70’s, Tulu film industry faced hindrances, but in recent days many movies are hitting the screens,” he added.
Many artists have played their roles in this movie. Devadas Kapikad, a renowned comedian in the Tulu theatre and film industry said, “This is a unique and much awaited movie. The whole production was completed on the basis of mutual understanding. It was the dream of Prakash Pandeswar to launch a creative film to the audience. Comedians have involved themselves completely in this movie. Veerendra Shetty has directed the movie with his sensible creativity; moreover the producer has also supported it.”
“Naveen D Padil has especially played the best role in the history of the Tulu film industry. This movie gives entertainment with good humour and a message towards society. The sequence of events in the first half even continues in the second half .The roles given to each actors is wonderful and unique. The shoot was finished within 26 days using two cameras,” he added.
Naveen D Padil who spoke on this occasion said that the film is a unique one and is done as per layman’s expectations. He added that the film will hit screen on the eve of Vishwa Tuluvare Parbha.
On this occasion, Bojaraj Vamanjoor also addressed the gathering.
‘Chaali Polilu’ movie is produced by Prakash Pandeshwar, is directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor, music is composed by V Manohar and background music is provided by Manikanth Kadri, V Manohar, Devdas Kapikad and Vijaykumar Kodialbail has composed songs, Devdas Kapikad, Navin D Padil, Boojaraj Vamjoor, Sundar Rai Mandara, Chethan Rai Mandara, Divya, Navya, Padmaja Rao and many other actors have played their role in the movie.
Arjun Kapikad will be seen as a guest appearance and Surendra Bantwal will play the lead role.
The six songs in the movie are sung by Anuradha Bhat, Inchara Rao, Manikanth Kadri, Chinthan Vikas, Rithisha Padmanabha and Mohan.
On this occasion, Dr Mohan Alva was welcomed by Prakash Pandeshwar. Kadri Navanith compeered the program.
During this gathering, Bala Jaganath Shetty, Bojaraj Vamanjoor, media personnel’s and others were present.
