‘Voters have rejected moral policing of youth’

MANGALORE: Voters have given a befitting reply to the BJP and its affiliate organizations, which for the past five years in the coastal region including Dakshina Kannada, terrorized students with acts of moral policing and assaulting them, said Ashith G Pereira, president, Dakshina Kannada district unit of National Student’s Union of India.

BJP and its affiliates also terrorized innocents and vitiated the communal amity in the region, he added.

Lauding and congratulating the people of the state and the enlightened electorate for theresounding verdict against BJP, Ashith said the Congress in the state will strive to provide a government that is for the common man in Karnataka. The office bearers of district unit of NSUI congratulated all the Congress MLAs from the district on their victory..
