Mangalore, October 1: Mr Shripad Yesso Naik, Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, visited Sri Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple on October 1st, Wednesday morning.
The Minister offered prayers to the presiding deity Shiva and also the idol of Goddess Sharada installed as part of Navaratri celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, the minister said he had heard much about the shrine and it was his first visit to the Temple.
The minister was warmly welcomed by Temple Trustee Sai Ram. The Minister was accompanied by former MLA and former deputy speaker Yogish Bhat, kudroli temple trustee Sai Ram among others.
