Unauthorised constructions in the city evicted.

Mangalore, September 12: Eviction was carried on the illegal constructions in the city and was cleared by the joint operation carried out by the Revenue and Mangalore city Corporation Health officers on Friday, September 12th.

The shops which were running without licence were cleared on the both the edges of Bibi Alabi Road, Bunder in Mangalore City.

The MCC health officer Dr Manjayya Shetty revealed to the media that the scrap shops were erected in public area and the owners did not possess any licence. He also said that public toilets will be erected in these areas.

Some of the shop owners were found shifting their things by their vehicles.

He also added that in a view to make Mangalore a healthy city, similar drives would be carried out at various areas in the coming days.

The Revenue officials, MCC team led senior health inspector Bharat Kumar directed by the health officer Yashwanth and others supervised the eviction process.
