Mangalore, September 12: Mountainer Ms Arunima Sinha gave a call to the audience stating that,” The female siblings must develop a strong constitution. The parents, guardians and teachers should give them the proper guidelines to protect themselves from lewders. None can resist them if the females are strong”. She addressed the female students at a programme organised by the Youth Brigade at Sanghanikethan of the city.
Arunima, who was a volley ball and football player; was thrown out of a moving train by a miscreant who wished to loot her while she was travelling from Lucknow to Delhi on April 11th, 2011.She lost one leg in this accident and later she made a record by climbing the Mt Everest in the year 2013.Youth Brigade had invited Arunima on the grounds that she was a role model to the female students and explained about her and her life.
Chakravarthi Sulibele was the main convener of the programme. Many students from various colleges had participated in the programme and were encouraged by Arunima’s precious words.
