5.4 magnitude tremor strikes Andaman and Nicobar Islands

Port Blair, May 1: A low intensity earthquake jolted the Andaman islands on Friday afternoon. This comes a week after a strong earthquake measuring 7.9 struck Nepal. The low intensity earthquake measure 5.4 on the Richter scale and the epicenter was located 135 km southwest of Port Blair.

No damage has been reported as of now.
