Indian Social Forum western Zone conducts election campaign meet

Jeddah: In order to educate the Non-resident public of Karnataka about the upcoming Karnataka State Gram Panchayat Elections which has been announced in the State will be held in two phases on May 29 and June 2, an election campaign was held in Shifa Polyclinic here in Jeddah on 28th may 2015.

Ismail Kalladka (president, India Social Forum Jeddah. Karnataka State) who chaired the meet, addressed the gathering and condemned some of the Major Political parties in India for feeding and growing of corruption, communalism, capitalism and many other social evils and requested the citizens to be aware of these facts and not to come under their influence. Abdul Majeed Vitla (District President IFF western zone) accused the Congress Party that, for 65 years after the independence it has been playing the blame game of accusing the BJP as the communal party and using the Muslim community as a vote bank for all these years.

Farmers, poor, Dalits, Sc- STs, Minority communities and specially the Muslims have been left behind and never been considered in the main Stream of development. Hundreds of non-residents from Karnataka took part from India Fraternity Forum Jeddah,  Janaab Sharif Master (General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Social Forum in Jeddah), Janaab Hanif Haris (State Vice President of the Social Forum in Jeddah), Janab Abdul Aziz Mangalore and Janaab E. M. Abdullah (Vice-President of the Social Forum of the Central Committee JEDDAH) were the dignitaries present on the stage.
