New Delhi: In a new twist to the farmer’s suicide at AAP rally, family members Gajendra Singh have alleged that the handwriting on the purported suicide note was not his.
According to report in News 24, Gajendra’s sister has claimed that the handwriting on the suicide note, which they saw on television, was not his.
The family members of Gajendra has also held the AAP leaders and Delhi administration responsible for his death.

“I personally hold Arvind Kejriwal “responsible” for this incident,” Vijendra Singh, brother of Gajendra Singh was quoted as saying in media reports.
“Manish Sisodia had asked Gajendra to attend Wednesday’s AAP rally,” Vijendra further added.[A political stunt gone wrong?]
Meanwhile, the body of Gajendra was on Thursday taken for last rites with a large number of people including politicians converging at his native village Nangal Jhamarvar in Dausa district.

According to officials, the body was taken to Rajgarh in Alwar district, which is 30 km away from his village, last night. Due to his neice’s wedding, his body was brought to the village only this morning after the ‘baraat’ (wedding party) left the village.

A pall of gloom has descended on the village after 41-year-old Singh, a father of three, committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in public view at an AAP rally on Wednesday in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
AAP on Thursday announced a compensation of Rs.10 lakh to Singh’s family.
Making the announcement, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh said that his party activists tried but failed to save Gajendra Singh after he hanged himself from a tree at the site.
He added that Delhi Police were very much to blame for the death on Wednesday because they failed to intervene despite repeated appeals from AAP leaders.
