Dubai; August 18: A Varalaxmi Pooja was performed by Varalaxmi Seva Samiti at J S S school auditorium on August 16, Friday under the leadership of Dubai coastal ladies with utmost reverence and thousands of Hindu devotees have participated and sought the blessing from Goddess Laxmi.
All the ladies assembled near the Tulsi Vrindavana, specially erected for the occasion outside the auditorium and after performing some rituals by the purohit in front of the specially made Tulsi Vrindavana, ladies in new costumes entered the auditorium in procession with Jyothi (lamps) and chanted Vishnu Ashnothara Shathanamavali.
The devotional music programme was staged by different Bhajan Groups and women group like Rajarajeshwari Bhajana Vrinda, UAE Padmashali Bhajana vrinda, Mogaveers U AE Bhajana Sangha, Om Shree Bhakta Vrinda Sharjah, Thayi Bhuvaneshwari Bhajana Sangha, Jebel Ali etc. have participated and rendered a beautiful devotional Bhajans.
The renowned Vastu expert Dr Swapna spoke on the occasion about the meditation and concentration that would bring spirituals-bliss and positivity into life.
The highlight of the programme was the Sri Mangaladevi Mahatme,an innovative dance recital choreographed by Pramodh,who specially arrived from native place staged by the artists of Varamahalaxmi Puja Samiti and Gammat kalavider.
The priest Raghu Bhat and his friends led the puja celebrations and prayed Goddess Varamahalxmi bless each one with health, wealth and peace in this world. Couple Ganesh Rai also offered puja on behalf of all.
Shree Mahalxmi Astaka, Ayigiri Nandini and Shree Laxmi Astothara Archanas were held by the ladies. After the Mahapooja Brahmin aaradhane, Kannikaradheane for unmarried junior girls and sumangale items were distributed amongst the ladies.
Rajesh Kuttar and his team erected an illuminous and beautiful stage for the occasion. The organizers presented mementoes to all those who helped in organizing the celebrations. Udayakumar Kateel, Jagannat Bellare, Ramachandra Belapu, Suvarna Satish, Satish Poojary, Balakrishna Salian and others honored the donors.
Abu Dhabi – Karnataka Sangh president Sarvottam Shetty, entrepreneur Shekar Shetty, office bearers of different Karnataka community organizations, Karnataka entrepreneurs were present on the occasion.
The prasadam was distributed to all the devotees participated in the programme. Rajesh Kuttar compered the programme.
