Worker at a restaurant was smuggling cigarettes to Saudi prisoners
Saudi prison guards could not hide their puzzlement on how the inmates get enough cigarette supplies despite tight security at jail.
Their puzzlement turned into a shock when they found that the culprit was the broasted chicken.
And it was a mere coincidence. A guard was routinely checking the chicken meal brought into the prison in the northwestern town of Hail when he felt a hard item.
“The guard found cigarette boxes were stuffed between the broasted chicken and bread…police discovered that a worker at a chicken restaurant was smuggling the cigarettes to the inmates…the man was arrested,” Ajel newspaper said.
