Hyderabad: It was a common assumption that Suriya was playing a double role in the Lagadapati Sridhar produced film Sikandar. However, apparently, he doesn’t have a double role.
“He is not playing double role, but his character has two shades,” Sridhar says. “For Rajinikanth Basha was a landmark film, for Kamal Haasan it was Nayakudu and for Suriya Sikander will be the best film in his career,” he adds. He added that Brahmanandam’s comedy too will be one of the film’s highlights. Santosh Shivan, one of the best cinematographers in India, has worked on this film. Samantha plays the female lead and the makers promise that the audience will see her in a new role.
Sridhar has completed 10 years in the film industry and on this occasion he is releasing a postal stamp. “We are also planning to celebrate the occasion in a big way in Vijayawada on August 24,” says Sridhar.
