Mumbai: While their first two outings, Kyon Ki and Main Aur Mrs Khanna were box-office disasters, Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor proved lucky for each other the third time. Bodyguard created history and earned Rs 230 crores.
The latest addition is Salman is keen on cashing in on his hot pairing with Kareena in Sooraj Barjatya’s next, and has suggested her name to the filmmaker. A source shares with Mumbai Mirror, “While Barjatya has a few other names in his mind, Salman has told him that he would like Kareena to be paired opposite him. Salman made the suggestion to Barjatya last week.”
Reportedly, Salman’s character will be called Prem in the film, and it will be a typical Barjatya project – revolving around Indian values and traditions. Thus, Salman apparently told Sooraj that Kareena’s soft, Indian looks will be apt for the venture.
Though Kareena has a huge chance of romancing Salman again, there’s been no official confirmation from the director or the banner.
