Mumbai: Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna narrowly avoided a road accident due to his presence of mind. The two were traveling from a studio in Goregaon to Madh Island with choreographers Bhawna Khanduja and Vaibhav Ghuge, when the incident occured.
The driver lost control after falling asleep while driving. He didn’t see a four-wheeler approaching the car. Karishma who was seated at the back with her friends, panicked when the incident occurred. Upen, who was seated next to him, quickly grabbed the steering wheel and averted the crash.
Apparently, working for double shifts for past three days took a toll on driver’s health. Upen did not reprimand the driver for his negligence as he was fatigued.
