Priyanka Chopra is currently in US working on her many international assignments. The Bollywood actress, who is getting ready for her performance in ABC’s ‘Quantico’, tweeted that she is being trained to talk in an ‘American’ actress. However, PC finds this funny because back home, people think that the ‘exotic’ actress already sports an American accent.
PC tweeted, “Find it so funny that in India people think I have an American accent anyway but here I’m getting coached to get a more “American”accent lol”. She added, “She’s a born n bred in the US character.”
That reminds us, Kareena Kapoor Khan had also commented on PC’s accent in the popular chat show, ‘Koffee with Karan’. Bebo had said, “I want to ask Priyanka where she gets that accent from”. To which PC had replied, “The same place that Kareena’s (then) boyfriend gets it from”, referring to her schooling abroad.
