Mumbai: Karishma Tanna might have lost the trophy to a more famous and loved Gautam Gulati but the actress feels that this is just the beginning of her new innings in Bollywood. “I am not going to do any more TV soaps. I am game for reality shows and my manager told me I have been offered a lot of films”, Karishma added.
The Grand Masti actress also has her next Bollywood film coming out in few months. “Tina aur Lolo was complete even before I went inside. I just got a call from my director and we were discussing about the film. I believe we will be releasing the film sometime soon”, she smiled. Talk about her BB outing and she is all smiles. Talk about Upen Patel and she will slowly blush before laughing out loud. But talk about Rushabh Choksi and the smile disappears almost immediately.
“Can we talk about something else”, she tries to dodge the inevitable question on her long-standing relationship with Rushabh. “I am out and I want to unwind and such questions are not letting me unwind at all”, Karishma shot back. While Karishma was constantly murmuring about her boyfriend almost throughout the first three months on the show, suddenly Upen’s proposal brought in a stark change in the actress’s opinions. “At times, you feel you are on the right track until someone you come across proves that it’s the wrong track and shows you the right track. That is what happened to me. Upen came and he made me feel that everything was wrong and only he can make it right”
But when it came to showering love on Upen, she did not hold back. “Whatever I have done on the show was with my own consent and I do not give a damn to what people think of it”. We reminded Karishma how she had gone on records, claiming that she will be finishing all the unfinished business and will talk it out with her now ex- boyfriend Rushabh. But the actress seems to have no time for all that. “I am not even having time to breathe, leave aside meeting anyone right now”, signed off Karishma.
Do we call it double standard or plain simple ignorance? But whatever, Karishma, you should have rather been prepared to face such questions. And if you knew you weren’t, you should not have proclaimed such things on camera. On contacting someone close to Rushabh, the source who prefers to not be named claimed, “Karishma will never be able to enter Escobar anymore. What she has done is extremely shameful. She’s not even coming on the social networking sites because she knows there’s already so much negativity around her image. Trust me, she’s not even doing anything to change that”
