New Delhi: Ace director Anurag Kashyap’s much anticipated film of this year—’Bombay Velvet’ might have been in news for its delay in release date, but now the makers have given out the first sneak peak into how lead actor Ranbir Kapoor looks in the neo-noir drama flick.
Actress Anushka Sharma, who plays a jazz singer in the movie took to micro-blogging site Twitter and revealed how Ranbir aka Johnny Balraj of ‘Bombay Velvet’ looks in the film. She posted: “Say hello to the Big Shot Johnny Balraj of #BombayVelvet first look out on 29th @foxstarhindi @FuhSePhantom”
‘Bombay Velvet’ is reportedly based on historian Gyan Prakash’s book Mumbai Fables and is set in the Mumbai of 1960s. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 15, 2015.
