New Delhi: Arpita Khan’s wedding will not be remembered only for its lavish celebrations or parties but also for some controversies and patch up.
The news that Salman Khan addressed Katrina Kaif as Katrina Kapoor is old and stale.
The latest buzz doing the rounds is that Salman’s ex-girlfriend Katrina is quite miffed with Dabbangg Khan as the ‘Kapoor’ video has gone viral.
Arpita Khan’s wedding at Falaknuma Palace was indeed a gossip developing event for many. Salman referred to Katrina as Katrina Kapoor when the latter refused to come on stage to dance on her song Chikni Chameli.
The video created a stir and went viral on social networking circuits. As reported Katrina’s present beau Ranbir laughed off the entire episode. However, it seems that Ms Kaif did not take it as sportingly as her boyfriend.
Reports suggest that the viral video has made Katrina upset to no end. So much so that even Arpita tried her best to calm down Kat, but to no avail.

The stage was set for celebs’ performance at the Arpita’s wedding. And when Salman took the stage, DJ couldn’t think over anything else except to play his favourite tracks including ‘Chikni Chameli’.
Salman recognized it was Katrina who made the song special in ‘Agneepath’ and as she was present at the ceremony he called her up saying, “Katrina Tumhara Gaana Baj Raha Hai, Please Come On Stage”.
But shy Katrina tried to escape the call by hiding herself behind the filmmaker Karan Johar. Salman didn’t stop there and urged Karan to ‘please come here and bring Katrina Kaif on stage..’
The actress still didn’t budge on that and so Salman decided to try the other way. He said, ‘Ok fine, not Katrina Kaif, Katrina Kapoor. Please come on stage.’
The jibe was rather taken into light-hearted way by her and by all others present at the ceremony. And while she was stepping up on the stage, Salman once again attempted to pull her leg by saying, “Mai kya karoon… I gave you a chance to become Katrina Khan, but you chose to be ‘Katrina Kapoor’!”
Katrina is now living with Ranbir in their newly rented apartment at Carter Road, Mumbai. It’s being murmured that the two might get hitched next year but as far as Ranbir’s family in concerned they are not entirely happy with this relation.
However, Katrina seems quite unhappy with Salman as the witty and carefree Salman spoke the ‘unspoken’ fact.
