Bengaluru: A lot was written about actress-turned-politician Ramya till a few months ago. Last year, Ramya entered the political arena and announced that she would contest from the Mandya constituency on a Congress party ticket. She tasted success in the Assembly polls, but lost later. The actress also made news for starring with Century Star Shivarajkumar for the first time in her career in the movie Arya, which was released earlier this year. But since the release, Ramya, who was quite active on her social media page, has been MIA.
Last heard, Ramya is studying and training further in London. A couple of months ago, the gossip in Gandhinagar was that the actress would be settling in London along with her mother. We are still not sure what the truth is, but we do hope she returns to Bengaluru and to movies soon.
