Udupi; Feb 26: When legislator Pramodh Madhwaraj asked in legislative assembly meet on Feb 24, whether the issue of simplification of Coastal Regulation Zone Management Notification was submitted to central government from state government?. Sl.No.1. Q : Whether state government has formed the Coastal Regulation Zone Management programme?
Ans: As Indian government’s forest and environment ministry published, under ‘coastal regulation zone management notification 2011, about coastal regulation zone management plan, objection from the public was obtained. Based on this coastal regulatory zone management programme will be formed.
Sl.No.2.Q: At the time of formation of coastal regulatory zone management programme, whether only after making wide publicity, advertisement, coastal regulation zone management notification was finalized?
Answer: At the time of preparation of this programme, enough, wide publicity, advertisement was made and public objection was obtained. Based on this, finalization of formation of coastal regulation zone management programme has been continued.
Sl.No.3.Q: Whether the proposal of simplification of coastal regulation zone notification was submitted to central government by state government?
Ans: Yes
Sl.No.4.Q: In the past No Objection certificate was being issued for the people, who wish to build buildings in line with coastal regulation zone notification’s terms and conditions by the district level coastal regulation zone management samiti but now it is not being given. Whether this point has come to knowledge of government?
Ans: Yes
