Karkala; Jan 08: Karkala BJP Mahila Morcha staged a protest against congress led UPA government’s price increase, Gas price increase, terrorism and corruption on Jan 08, Wednesday.
Protestors, who came in procession from Karkala Ananthashayana to bus stand. Then state BJP working committee member Smt.Reshma Udaya Shetty, while addressing the protestors said in her speech that when Vajpayee led NDA government was in power, for Rs 350, gas cylinder was availing. But during UPA government’s tenure gas cylinder price is costing Rs 1250, putting the common people’s life terribly under miserable condition.
Further she said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, during his ten years of rule, he had organized press meet only three times, which clearly proved that Manmohan Singh requires permission from foreign lady to speak, she said.
Smt.Sheela.K.Shetty, BJP district Mahila Morcha president said while talking that union government by increasing the price of gas has snatched the people’s right of living. In reality, mainly ladies should struggle by uniting together against gas price increase. She further alleged that Manmohan Singh, who by claiming that he is an intelligent economist, made the condition of the entire country up-side down due to his wrong economic policies, she said
She also said that in order to impress the minority community people, the government, which support indirectly to terrorism, has not taken any strict action against about the hidden places of radicals, extremist in Karnataka’s coastal region, resulting today entire nation is on the verge of facing danger, expressed her concern.
Atrocities, rapes in the country exceeded its limit and thus there is no protection to women under congress government. In Mangalore, it is a tragedy that though 8 youths belonging to minority community kidnapped a young girl and engaged in forceful sex, police have not registered any atrocity or rape complaint against them. Besides Chief minister Siddaramaih in the name of superstition, bringing bad repute and spoiling the religious beliefs, sentiments of Hindus and thus it is the height of his egotism period, she said.
Besides in order to lure voters, by giving rice at Rs 1 per kg to BPL card holders, betrayed by snatching the rice of APL card holders. For every citizen’s peaceful life in the country, election of Narendra Modi in the ensuing Loka Sabha election is inevitable she said.
