Karkala; Dec 04: Under the auspices of Udupi district panchayat national rural health camp in association with district health and family welfare development, primary health centre Ajekaru, KMC Manipala, Village panchayat Marne, village panchayat varanga, lion’s club Muniyalu, Mamatha sports and cultural Sangha Ajekaru and Karnataka government medical officers Sangha Udupi, a free health check-up camp by specialist doctors will be held on Dec 12 in Ajekaru Jyothi high school and P.U.College.
Legislator V.Sunil Kumar will inaugurate the camp.Smt.Heera Shetty, president of Marne village panchayat will preside over the function.
In the camp free health check-up, free medicine distribution, free eye check-up, if necessary free ECG,those who are above 30 years, free diabetic check-up and from Manipal KMC hospital doctors free diabetics retinopathy screening will be conducted, the release said.
