Karkala;Dec 04: Shanvi Ballal,aged 6, has won first place in the recently held inter district level Karavali champions trophy-2013,in Mangalore SDM college’s auditorium, in 9 year old category. She was given cash and letter of appreciation.
She was trained by rotary chess academy, Karkala and studying in city’s Christ king English medium school in first standard.
