Udupi; Nov 20: In an incident reported on Nov 20, Wednesday near Aadarsh hospital, the tipper which brought soil for the construction of the building somersaulted into the pond as it could not sustain the weight of the soil.
However it was reported that the boy identified as Jitu, aged 10, from north Kannada, who was inside the vehicle escaped with minor bruises.
Sources said that tipper which brought soil for the construction of the building was parked near the construction site after applying brake by using some plastic device for unloading.
Because the vehicle, could not be taken to the place of work, as it was located lower part of the construction site. The vehicle parked above the work place using plastic device, lost the balance and fell into the pond.
