Mangaluru, Oct. 8: A person was allegedly murdered at Ambikanagar, Mura of Kavoor outskirts of Mangaluru city on Wednesday night, October 7th.
The deceased is Mohammed (55), son of Hasanabba. Mohammed was a scrap dealer by profession.
This murder took place when Mohammed had been on his two-wheeler to drop his friend. An unknown assailant stabbed Mohammed to death and escaped from the spot.
The exact reason behind the murder is not yet known, but police sources said that it was a family conflict and that land dispute was behind the incident.
The body was shifted to A.J hospital. Kavoor police are investigating the case.
