Mangaluru, October 3: Former Central Minister as well as Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary on Saturday October 3rd said that he has met Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi and discussed about the adverse effects of the Yettinahole Drinking Water Project and also the scam that possibly have taken place in the project. Sonia Gandhi has given a positive response to this said Janardhan Poojary.
Addressing a press meet at the district Congress office here on Saturday, October 3rd, Poojary said, she has asked the CM Siddaramaiah to discuss with him regarding the Yettinahole project.
Poojary further speaking said, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel is wasting time by organizing unwanted marches and instead let him hold discussions with their ministers in the centre and provide justice to the people of the district, he said.
There is no information to the concerned in the forest department on the Yettinahole project. Let them conduct immediate study on this project, avoid wastage of people’s money and come forward to save Nethravathi, suggested Poojary.
In the press meet, congress leaders such as TK Sudheer, Deepak Poojary, Nagendra, Praveen Chandra Alva, Purushottam and others were present.
