Mangaluru, September 9: Home minister K J George during his visit to the city on Monday, September 7th passed orders to the Police commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner to send in exile the accused who involve in moral policing. But on the very next day on Tuesday, September 8th; immoral policing is reported in Mangaluru.
It is learnt that miscreants assaulted a youth who had visited City Centre Mall in K S Rao Road, Mangaluru along with two girls. The youth from Kerala named Arjun, a student of a college here went to the mall in the evening along with his two female classmates. Among the two girls, one belonged to another community. Some people, who observed this, stopped the youth and questioned him. As the youth failed to give them appropriate answers, he was assaulted, it is said.
The Bunder police on receiving information immediately rushed to the spot and took the youth and the girls to the police station and interrogated them. Meanwhile, the youth who was assaulted has filed a complaint at the Bunder police station, it is gathered. Police have taken up the investigations.
It is said, at the same time, again attack has taken place on lovers in City Centre Mall. Some messages were also seen going viral over the social sites, it is learnt.
