Bantwal, March 27: Police have arrested three persons after a young married woman Bushra committed suicide at her residence in in Bogodi, Melkar near here on March 23rd.
In connection with the suicide committed by a woman named Bushra at her residence in Bogodi Melkar near here on March 23rd, the police have arrested three persons.
Bushra’s husband Irfan, father-in-law Muhammed (45), and mother-in-law Mumtaz (40) are the arrested.
The police had taken Irfan into custody immediately after his discharge from hospital where he was treated for injuries suffered while he was attacked by public. The locals from the area, had attacked the family members of deceased Bushra’s husband, alleging foulplay.
It is said that Irfan’s parents were taken into custody from a house in Chikkamagaluru.
A case has been registered against them and investigation is going on, said the police sources.
