MANGALORE, MARCH 23: In the press meet held on 23rd March, it has been reported that more than three lakh voters from Gowda community are dwelling in Dakshina Kannada District. Sulia Vidhana Sabha constituency alone has reported more than 60% voters from the Gowda community has now been kept reserved for special category community. Besides in the neighbouring Puttur Vidhana Sabha constituency also there are approximately Forty thousand voters from Gowda community residing, it is said.
Mr.Dhananjaya Adpangaya, Mr.Bharat Mundodi, Mr.M.Venkappa Gowda, Mr.Devaraj Kalige and Divya Prabha Chilthadka,these are the people who have rendered their relentless service in bloc, district and state level and worked sincerely,deligently ,selflessly and on the party’s principles by bringing the community people together to form the party and welfare of the party for the past 20- 30 years. As reported the above named aspirants have forwarded their applications as candidates for Puttur Vidhana Sabha constituency in the coming election.
It is a known fact that prior to this BJP Party on the basis of caste brought D.V.Sadananda Gowda from Sulia and made him to contest from Puttur Vidhana Sabha Constituency, won twice from the said constituency and reached to high rank subsequently and trying to retain this constituency under the belt of BJP permanently.
Therefore in view of bringing both these constituencies under the fold of Congress, it has been urged Dr.G.Parameshwar- President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Samithi,Bangalore with assurance of victory in the ensuing assembly election to give ticket (Congress) to any one of the candidates from the delegation to contest on congress ticket in the coming election.
Hence keeping in mind the best interest/welfare of the party it has been humbly requested to think seriously on this particular matter and arrive to valuable decision.
