Mumbai: After a nice supper, watching television is not the only option for middle class couples. According to the Telegraph.co.uk, many couples have made their own sex tapes, filming themselves doing the act.

Middle class lovers are 70 per cent more likely to film themselves than working class couples, according to a YouGov poll. The poll commissioned by The Sunday Times found that just 7 per cent of the working classes had recorded themselves in action while 12 per cent of the middle class made their own sex tapes.

Among the list of hobbies, homemade porn films have been placed alongside dinner parties, golfing and shopping in M&S.

According to the report, Tracey Cox, relationship and sex expert, says “You need equipment and time. If you’re working all the time and exhausted, then just having normal vanilla sex is going to be an achievement.”

“But the middle classes are a little competitive in the bedroom, wanting as good a sex life as they think everyone else has.”

Cox says that even timid couples shy from role-play but are more open to making sex tapes. “Very few people really get into role play because it’s embarrassing and they’re very self conscious,” she says. “A sex tape is completely different – there’s no acting required, you can just be natural. You don’t feel like you’re going to make a fool of yourself.”
