Mumbai : The Naigaon – Virar Branch of Mogaveera Vyavasthapaka Mandali, Mumbai celebrated its Annual Day on 15thFebruary 2014 at Swami Narayana Sabhagrah, Vasai.
Wellknown social worker cum politician Hitendra Thakur was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Addressing the community people he appreciated the achievements of Mogaveeras who established night school in Mumbai hundred years ago. He promised to extend his support to Naigaon – Virar Branch of Mogaveera Vyavasthapaka Mandali.
Chairman of local branch Satish Kumar Karkera welcomed.
Vice president of MVM, Mumbai H Arun Kumar presided over the function. Mayor Narayana Mankar and Sudhakar D Amin were present as Guests of honor.
General Secretary of MVM, Mumbai Sanjeeva K Saliyan presented a brief report of the Mandali.
Guinness record holder Gopal Kharvi felicitated during the occasion.
Vice president of Mogaveera Vyavasthapaka Mandali, Gopal Puthran, Trustees G.K. Ramesh & P N Suvarna, Mogaveera monthly Editor, Ashok Suvarna, Naigaon – Virar Branch Secretary Prathap Karkera, Ladies Wing President Shambhavi Bengre, Secretary Nalini Karkera and other office bearers were present.
