SpiceJet, which had suspended flight operations from Mysore from September 5 to October 31, has revised the schedule and will fly to the city thrice a week from September 16, according to a release.

As per the revised schedule, the SpiceJet flight will operate to Mysore on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Earlier, it used to operate five days a week but for Saturdays and Tuesdays before suspending services, citing lack of passenger load.

Internal issues

However, airport authorities said passenger traffic originating from Mysore was high and the reasons for cancellations were due to the airline’s internal issues.

Mysore Airport Director C. Manjunath said even the revised flight schedule was a temporary arrangement and flights would operate till October 25, after which the management of the airline had to take a call.

As per the new schedule, the flight will land in Mysore on Mondays at 12.55 p.m. and take off for Bangalore at 3.15 p.m.

It will land in Mysore on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 1.15 p.m. and take off for Bangalore at 2.15 p.m.
