Nayana Krishna’s car traced in Kollegal taluk
The Central Crime Branch sleuths, who are investigating a honey trap case, have gone to Mumbai in search of Kannada actor Nayana Krishna, a suspect in the case.
‘Gym’ Raghu from Devanahalli, one of the prime suspects in the case who was arrested while he was trying to flee to Mumbai recently, had revealed to the CCB sleuths that he was on his way to Mumbai to join Nayana and Rihana, another suspect. Based on the information given by him, the CCB team left to Mumbai to track her down.
“We are seeking the assistance of our Mumbai counterparts to trace her,” a senior police officer said.
On Sunday, the police found Nayana’s car abandoned near Ponnachi village in Kollegal taluk of Chamarajanagar district. Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Goyal said the car was seized by the police. He said the actor had abandoned the car there on June 21. The police have so far arrested four persons in connection with the case, including a police constable from Kempe Gowda Nagar.
