Bangalore, Nov 4, 2013, DHNS: The Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) has decided to continue its agitation against the alleged ‘vote bank politics’ of the Congress government in the State by announcing schemes beneficial to only one section of the society.

Staging a dharna along the Race Course Road, KJP president Yeddyurappa said the party would continue the strike against ‘Shaadi Bhagya’ and the non-inclusion of Above Poverty Line (APL) card holders for the various schemes announced by the Siddaramaiah regime.

However, he said, the KJP will not be laying siege to the Vidhan Soudha, as planned previously.

“Instead, on November 24, we will organise a massive rally in Belgaum and enter the legislature at the Suvarna Soudha on November 25 during the winter session of the Assembly,” said Yeddyurappa.

The KJP has been on an agitation over the past few days, urging the government to extend its various schemes to all sections of society.
