Third Convocation Ceremony by Krishi Vishwa Vidya Nilaya, Let be an another green revolution, Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Said

Raichur, April 1: Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam-Ex President of India, speaking on the occasion of third convocation ceremony organized by Raichur Krishi Vishwa Vidya Nilaya, he suggested that through principles of mutual understandings, co-operation and trust by the farmers there is no doubt about getting better price for their agricultural products and proper market place to vend .Thereby farmers could produce their agricultural products merely on the basis of country’s population.

He said all the facilities available in the urban places must be extended to rural area as well. It is necessary that facilities like Modern communication centres, Information centres and programmes about agricultural science, be made to reach even in villages for the formation of socio-economic balance, he suggested.

Country’s 700 million people are living in villages. He emphasized that our focus must be on bringing those people who are living in rural places in to main stream. He assured that with this kind of developmental activities in the rural activities only progress of the country can be assured.

Use only quality oriented raw materials : He said in his speech that universities must give importance for result oriented activities and help the farmers by advising them to focus on maximum production with minimum expenditure by using quality seeds.
In a country like India where population is growing at galloping speed this is the time for universities to strengthen and to take appropriate innovative investigations in the available vacant lands for the optimum output, he advised.

Students who scored high ranks and excelled in B.Sc and B.Tech along with other post graduates like Santhosh Tiwari,Malla Reddy,Prakash Aparna Radhakrishnan,Anu Thaloh,Chetan,Noorulla Haveri,,Umesh,Beerji Ramesh, Manohar,Mohammed Waseem have been recognized and awarded with Gold medal.

“Raitha Vijnani” award has been bestowed to Devendrappa Balootagi from Koppala District, Kustagi Taluk and Sharana Basappa Peerappa Patil from Gulbarga for their Excellency in the field of Agriculture.
