100-days in office: Congress to keep it low-key

congress BANGALORE: Chief minister Siddaramaiah may keep celebration of 100-days in office simple with just restricting to release of a booklet.

Though it was suggested to him that to celebrate 100-days in office on grand scale by holding events at Bangalore Palace Grounds, taluk and district headquarters, Siddaramaiah reportedly vetoed it saying government was not a cinema to hold celebration for running 100-days.

Siddaramaiah, who took over as CM on May 13, completed 100-days in office last week. He could celebrate as code of conduct was in force due to bypoll to Mandya and Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha segments and also to three vacant seats to the Upper House.

A booklet titled, 100 days-Hundreds of resolutions, will be released to the media on Monday highlighting the achievements made by the each minister and departments in last three months.
