Commenting on the Monday’s development in where Kumaraswamy and Yeddyurappa were seen in together in same garland, Poojary known for his hard hitting statements said, “For a moment I thought Kumaraswamy would lovingly kiss Yeddyurappa when former came close to the latter.”
Coming down heavily on JD(S), BJP and KJP alliance for bypolls for Bangalore Rural and Mandya Lok Sabha segments and three legislative council seats, Poojary said Yeddyurappa felt like he won the world when Kumaraswamy whispered something in the former BJP CM’s ears. “This love affair appears to be permanent even for 2014 Lok Sabha polls. However, it will not affect Congress prospect in anyway,” the former KPCC president said.
Describing coming together of three parties against Congress as ‘an unholy alliance’ Poojary, who is close to AICC president Sonia Gandhi said that the BJP which was talking about coming to power at the Centre had lost the battle even before it started by not fielding its candidates in both the Mandya and the Bangalore Rural segments. “Deve Gowda has surrendered to the communal forces and have lost his secular credentials. True colours of Gowda has been revealed as his son Kumaraswamy has joined hands with the communal forces,” he said.
