BANGALORE: Harikiran and Siddarth Srivatsa from St.Paul’s English School emerged as the winners at the regional finals ofTCS IT Wiz, aninter school IT quiz event organised by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
Over 1,200 students from various city schools participated in the competition held at Chowdiah Memorial Hall.. The regional finals of Bangalore edition witnessed some edge-of-the-seat quizzing withBalaji MT and Aniketh J. Reddy from Sri Kumaran Children’s Home coming at a close second.
The winning duo will represent Bangalore in the mega finals. An interactive Twitter contestwasalsoorganised during the quiz to engage with the students in real-time as a part of our social media outreach programme. As many as 1402 tweets were recorded during the regional finals.
This year through the TCS IT Wiz, the hunt for smart Tech Wizard will be held across 14 locations across the country – Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune. The winners of the UAE team will also compete in this finals for title.
