congressBangalore, August 9, 2013,: KPCC chief G Parameshwara on Friday demanded JD(S) national president H D Deve Gowda to expel the State party president H D Kumaraswamy from the party for forging an ‘unholy alliance’ with communal forces for the upcoming byelections to two parliamentary constituencies.

Speaking to reporters after taking part in a function to mark Quit India Movement organised at the party office, he said the State unit of the JD(S) has joined hands with the BJP much against secular principles of the party. Gowda should break his silence and clarify his stand on the issue, he added. “Will the JD(S) join the BJP-led NDA in the 2014 elections? Will Gowda back Narendra Modi (Gujarat chief minister) for the post of prime minister?” These, Parameshwara said, are some of the important questions Gowda should clarify.
