The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) has introduced free Wi-Fi services on Train Set No. 9 operating between Byappanahalli and Mahatma Gandhi Road.

An official release from BMRCL here said the field trials and tests are also being simultaneously done by its technical team and channel partners. The reception has been good and stable with more than 60 people already using the service.

Once the tests are successful, BMRCL is planning to introduce the same on all trains over a three month period.
