The recently held Karnataka Assembly elections were extensively covered by news media, with all of them carrying their own predictions of the poll outcome. The poll results are out and a new Chief Minister is at the helm in the state. Now is the time to consolidate the gains of the poll coverage.
One such channel celebrating its coverage of the polls is Kannada news channel Suvarna News, and the reason is the accuracy rate of Suvarna News – C Fore exit poll results, which the channel is claiming had an accuracy rate of near 100 per cent.
According to Suvarna News, this is the third time that the channel has predicted the results with such accuracy (after the 2008 Karnataka Assembly Elections and 2009 Lok Sabha Elections).
