What next after SSLC?

HUBLI: What next after SSLC? Several students come across this question once results of the board exams are out. While selection of the next education course and the career path will be largely dependent on the student’s aptitude, it will be prudent to seek professional career guidance in case of confusion. With a view to guide students on their career path, some city-based schools and colleges are planning to conduct career awareness programmes for students who have completed their SSLC and PUC.

Colleges including J G College of Commerce, Kadasiddeshwar Arts College and H S Kotambri Science College, Nehru College and schools including Sanskaar English Medium School and Rotary English & Kannada School of Deshpande Nagar have chalked out career guidance programmes for SSLC and PUC passed out students. Behavioral analysts and resource persons will guide students based on their performance in the board exams and their aptitude with respect to various education streams.

Speaking to TOI, Vinod J S, Administrator, Sanskaar English Medium School of Hubli, said: “Now, there is a wide range of courses available and scores of employment opportunities. We are planning to conduct career awareness during the last week of May for those who have passed out SSLC.”
