Bengaluru: “What am I supposed to do as Chief Justice of this country? I can certainly assure the citizens of this state – my Kanndigas – I will certainly not bring a bad name,” said Chief Justice of India H.L. Dattu after being felicitated by the Bengaluru Bar Association at Vidhana Soudha on Monday.
“I have the highest regard for former Chief Justice of India Rajendra Babu, former Supreme Court judge Justice Santhosh Hegde and R.N. Narashima Murthy, who shaped my career. Because of their blessings and guidance, I have attained this position,” he said.
