Kasargod, September 10: Family of the Indian Army soldier Mr Haridas from Kasargod, are worried about his safety.
On September 5th Mrs Vimala, wife of Lance Naik Haridas, was contacted by her husband. He informed her that he, along with other army personnel, was swept away in the flood waters and 20 personnel had managed to swim to safety.
Mr Haridas revealed to his wife over phone that they had landed in a remote area and were unable to communicate with their higher officials and they had barely a day’s food stock.
